Dydd Miwsig Cymru 2025
Mae Dydd Miwsig Cymru, neu Ddydd Miwsig Cymru, yn ddathliad bywiog o dreftadaeth gerddorol gyfoethog ac amrywiol Cymru. Mae’r diwrnod arbennig hwn wedi’i neilltuo i arddangos a hyrwyddo cerddoriaeth sy’n cael ei chanu yn yr iaith Gymraeg, gan amlygu dawn a chreadigrwydd cerddorion a chyfansoddwyr caneuon Cymru.
Ar Ddydd Miwisg Cymru, daw pobl ledled Cymru a thu hwnt at ei gilydd i fwynhau a gwerthfawrogi cerddoriaeth Gymraeg yn ei holl ffurfiau. Mae’n ddiwrnod pan mae gorsafoedd radio, gwasanaethau ffrydio, a lleoliadau byw yn canolbwyntio ar chwarae caneuon Cymraeg, gan greu awyrgylch llawen a Nadoligaidd.
Nod y dathliad yw codi ymwybyddiaeth o’r Gymraeg ac annog ei defnydd trwy gyfrwng cerddoriaeth bwerus. Mae hefyd yn darparu llwyfan i artistiaid newydd rannu eu gwaith a chysylltu â chynulleidfaoedd newydd. Boed yn alawon gwerin traddodiadol, caneuon pop cyfoes, neu synau arbrofol, mae gan gerddoriaeth Gymraeg swyn unigryw sy’n atseinio gyda’r gwrandawyr.
Nid cerddoriaeth yn unig yw Dydd Miwisg Cymru; mae'n ymwneud â meithrin ymdeimlad o falchder a chysylltiad â diwylliant a threftadaeth Cymru. Mae'n ein hatgoffa o bwysigrwydd cadw a dathlu ein traddodiadau ieithyddol ac artistig.
Felly, p’un a ydych chi’n ffan gydol oes o gerddoriaeth Gymraeg neu’n ei darganfod am y tro cyntaf, mae Dydd Miwisg Cymru yn gyfle perffaith i ymgolli yn seiniau hyfryd Cymru a dathlu ysbryd ein cenedl.

Mynegwch Eich Hun - Diwrnod Di-Wisg Ysgol
Heddiw, yn ystod ein Hwythnos Iechyd Meddwl Plant ysbrydoledig 'Gwybod Eich Hun, Tyfu Eich Hun', roeddem wrth ein bodd mewn Diwrnod Di-Wisg Ysgol bywiog! Fe wnaethom annog y plant i ddod i'r ysgol mewn gwisgoedd a oedd yn gwneud iddynt deimlo'n gyfforddus ac yn arddangos eu personoliaethau unigryw. O dracwisgoedd clyd a gwisgoedd Cymreig i rai clyd, hoff siwmperi, pyjamas annwyl, a gwisgoedd bocsys gwisgo lan, roedd yn galonogol gweld eu creadigrwydd a’u hunigoliaeth yn cael eu harddangos yn llawn. Roedd y diwrnod arbennig hwn yn ymwneud â dathlu hunanfynegiant ac unigoliaeth, ac roeddem wrth ein bodd yn gweld yr amrywiaeth llawen o wisgoedd a’r ffyrdd arbennig y dewisodd pob plentyn i gyflwyno eu hunain.

Wythnos Iechyd Meddwl Plant: ‘Adnabod Eich Hun, Tyfu Eich Hun’
Yr wythnos hon, fel rhan o ddathliadau Wythnos Iechyd Meddwl Plant, byddwch yn gwybod bod ein ffocws wedi bod ar y thema ‘Adnabod Eich Hun, Tyfu Eich Hun’. Mae deall a mynegi ein hemosiynau yn allweddol i ofalu am ein hiechyd meddwl, ac eleni, mae’r Cyngor Llesiant wedi gweithio’n galed i amlygu hyn trwy brosiect creadigol a hwyliog.
Mae’r Cyngor Lles yn falch o gyflwyno fideo arbennig sy’n arddangos myfyrwyr yn actio amrywiaeth o emosiynau! O lawenydd i rwystredigaeth, cyffro i dawelwch, mae'n atgof hyfryd o faint o wahanol deimladau rydyn ni'n eu profi bob dydd, a pha mor bwysig yw eu hadnabod a'u deall.
Rydym yn annog pawb i wylio’r fideo a myfyrio ar yr emosiynau y maent wedi’u gweld a’u teimlo. Diolch yn fawr iawn i'r holl blant fu'n rhan o'r prosiect cyffrous hwn!

Gweithdy Seiberddiogelwch NDEC
Cafodd Blwyddyn 5 amser gwych gyda Phrifysgol De Cymru yn gweithio ar seiberddiogelwch a phwysigrwydd diogelwch gwe. Cawsant gyfle i weld achosion o hacio yn digwydd ar draws y byd a chyfle i ddal seibr-ladron yn lladrata o’r banc!

Ymweliad Gweithdy Seiberddiogelwch
Ar Ddydd Iau 20fed o Chwefror, bydd disgyblion Blwyddyn 5 yn ymweld ag NDEC yng Nglyn Ebwy. Mae’r plant wedi bod yn gweithio ar waith sy’n gysylltiedig â seiberddiogelwch ac mae’r ymweliad hwn yn rhan o gyfres o weithdai a gyflwynir mewn partneriaeth â Phrifysgol De Cymru. Mae bws wedi ei drefnu i gludo'r plant i ac o Lynebwy yn ystod oriau ysgol heb unrhyw gost ychwanegol. Bydd pecyn cinio ysgol hefyd yn cael ei drefnu. Express Yourself - Non-Uniform Day
Today, during our inspiring 'Know Yourself, Grow Yourself' Children's Mental Health Week, we delighted in a vibrant Non-Uniform Day! We encouraged the children to come to school in outfits that made them feel comfortable and showcased their unique personalities. From cozy tracksuits and Welsh costumes to snug onesies, favorite jumpers, beloved pyjamas, and dressing-up box costumes, it was heartwarming to see their creativity and individuality on full display. This special day was all about celebrating self-expression and individuality, and we were thrilled to witness the joyful array of outfits and the distinct ways each child chose to present themselves.

Children’s Mental Health Week: ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’
This week, as part of our Children’s Mental Health Week celebrations, you will know that our focus has been on the theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’. Understanding and expressing our emotions is key to looking after our mental health, and this year, the Wellbeing Council has worked hard to highlight this through a creative and fun project.
The Wellbeing Council proudly presents a special video showcasing students acting out a range of emotions! From joy to frustration, excitement to calm, it’s a wonderful reminder of how many different feelings we experience every day, and how important it is to recognise and understand them.
We encourage everyone to watch the video and reflect on the emotions they’ve seen and felt. A big thank you to all the children involved in this exciting project!

NDEC Cyber-Security Workshop
Year 5 had a great time with the University of South Wales working on cyber security and the importance of web security. They had the chance to see cases of hacking happening all over the world and a chance to catch cyber-thieves robbing the bank!

Cyber-Security Workshop Visit
On Thursday 20th of February, Year 5 pupils will be visiting NDEC in Ebbw Vale. The children have been working on work linked to cyber-security and this visit is part of a series of workshops delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales. A bus has been organised to transport the children to and from Ebbw Vale during school hours with no extra cost. School packed lunch will also be organised. Since we have permissions for visits from yourself, if you do not wish your child to attend, please inform Miss Tanwen Davies (tanwen.davies@ysgolpanteg.cymru) or the school office (office.ysgolpanteg@torfaen.gov.uk) by Friday, 14th of February.
