Datblygu Annibyniaeth Plant: Cydweithio yn Ysgol Panteg
Yn Ysgol Panteg, rydym yn deall pwysigrwydd cydweithio fel sgil hanfodol ar gyfer datblygu annibyniaeth plant. Mae cydweithredu yn golygu rhannu, gwrando, cyfathrebu, empathi, a chynnwys eraill. Trwy gydweithio, mae plant yn dysgu gwerthfawrogi gwahanol safbwyntiau, datblygu sgiliau datrys problemau, ac adeiladu ymdeimlad o gymuned. Mae'r sgiliau hyn yn hanfodol ar gyfer meithrin annibyniaeth a pharatoi plant ar gyfer heriau'r dyfodol.
Gellir rhannu cydweithio yn sawl agwedd allweddol, yr ydym yn eu hyrwyddo’n frwd yn Ysgol Panteg:
Rhannu: Rhannu yw sylfaen cydweithio. Mae'n golygu nid yn unig rhannu adnoddau ffisegol ond hefyd syniadau a strategaethau. Mae dysgu plant i rannu'n gwrtais, gan ddefnyddio ymadroddion fel "Alla i ... os gwelwch yn dda" a "Diolch," yn eu helpu i ddangos parch at eraill a'u heiddo. Mae rhannu yn annog plant i feddwl y tu hwnt i'w hanghenion eu hunain ac ystyried anghenion eraill. Yn Ysgol Panteg, rydym yn annog dysgwyr i rannu adnoddau a syniadau yn hyderus, gan feithrin amgylchedd cydweithredol.
Gwrando: Mae gwrando gweithredol yn hanfodol ar gyfer cyfathrebu a chydweithio effeithiol. Mae angen i blant ddysgu gwrando'n ofalus ar syniadau a barn pobl eraill, ac ymateb yn feddylgar. Mae hyn yn eu helpu i ddeall gwahanol safbwyntiau ac adeiladu empathi. Yn Ysgol Panteg, rydym yn addysgu dysgwyr i wrando’n astud a gofyn cwestiynau i gymryd rhan mewn trafodaethau ystyrlon. Mae hyn yn gwella eu sgiliau gwrando ac yn hybu parch at ei gilydd.
Cyfathrebu: Mae cyfathrebu clir yn hanfodol ar gyfer cydweithio. Dylid annog plant i fynegi eu hanghenion, eu barn a’u syniadau’n hyderus. Mae hyn yn cynnwys cyfathrebu llafar a di-eiriau. Mae addysgu plant i fynegi eu meddyliau a gwrando ar eraill yn meithrin cyd-ddealltwriaeth a pharch. Yn Ysgol Panteg, pwysleisiwn bwysigrwydd cyfathrebu effeithiol yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg, gan helpu dysgwyr i ddatblygu sgiliau cyfathrebu cryf.
Empathi: Empathi yw'r gallu i ddeall a rhannu teimladau pobl eraill. Mae’n elfen allweddol o gydweithio gan ei fod yn helpu plant i feithrin perthnasoedd cryf a chefnogol. Gall annog plant i ddychmygu sut y gallai eraill deimlo mewn gwahanol sefyllfaoedd ac i ofyn cwestiynau i ddeall safbwyntiau eraill wella eu empathi. Yn Ysgol Panteg, rydym yn hybu empathi trwy annog dysgwyr i gefnogi a pharchu hawliau a theimladau eu cyfoedion.
Cynnwys Eraill: Mae cynhwysiant yn golygu cydnabod a gwerthfawrogi amrywiaeth pobl eraill. Mae addysgu plant i gynnwys eraill mewn chwarae a thasgau yn eu helpu i werthfawrogi gwahanol gefndiroedd a safbwyntiau. Mae hefyd yn meithrin ymdeimlad o berthyn a chymuned. 10 Syniad i Deuluoedd eu Datblygu Gweithio Gyda’n Gilydd Gartref:
Chwarae Gemau Cydweithredol: Cymryd rhan mewn gemau sy'n gofyn am waith tîm a chydweithio, fel gemau bwrdd neu chwaraeon tîm. Mae'r gweithgareddau hyn yn helpu plant i ddysgu gweithio gyda'i gilydd tuag at nod cyffredin.
Annog Prosiectau Grŵp: Cynnwys eich plentyn mewn prosiectau grŵp, fel adeiladu model neu greu llyfr lloffion teulu. Mae hyn yn eu dysgu i rannu cyfrifoldebau a chydweithio ag eraill.
Model Sgiliau Gwrando Da: Dangoswch wrando gweithredol trwy roi eich sylw llawn pan fydd eich plentyn yn siarad. Dangoswch iddyn nhw sut i wrando heb ymyrraeth ac i ymateb yn feddylgar. Mae'n lle da i ddechrau drwy ofyn iddynt sut olwg sydd ar wrando da.
Ymarfer Cymryd Tro: Anogwch gymryd tro mewn gweithgareddau bob dydd, fel chwarae gemau neu rannu tegannau. Mae hyn yn helpu plant i ddysgu aros eu tro a pharchu amser eraill.
Trafod Pwysigrwydd Rhannu: Siaradwch am pam mae rhannu yn bwysig a sut mae'n helpu i feithrin perthnasoedd cryf. Defnyddiwch enghreifftiau go iawn i ddangos manteision rhannu.
Chwarae Rôl Gwahanol Senarios Cymdeithasol: Defnyddiwch chwarae rôl i ymarfer sgiliau cymdeithasol, megis cyflwyno eich hun, gofyn am help, gwneud galwad ffôn pan fydd angen cymorth arnynt neu ddatrys gwrthdaro. Mae hyn yn helpu plant i ddatblygu hyder mewn rhyngweithio cymdeithasol.
Annog Empathi trwy Drafod Teimladau: Cael trafodaethau rheolaidd am deimladau ac emosiynau. Anogwch eich plentyn i fynegi ei deimladau ei hun ac i ystyried sut y gallai eraill deimlo mewn sefyllfaoedd gwahanol.
Creu Nodau Teuluol: Gosodwch nodau teulu sy'n gofyn am gyfranogiad pawb, megis cynllunio taith neu gwblhau prosiect cartref. Mae hyn yn meithrin ymdeimlad o waith tîm a chyfrifoldeb ar y cyd.
Gwirfoddoli Gyda'n Gilydd: Cymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau gwasanaeth cymunedol fel teulu. Mae gwirfoddoli yn dysgu plant am werth helpu eraill a chydweithio dros achos cyffredin. Mae ein Cymdeithas Rhieni ac Athrawon bob amser yn chwilio am wirfoddolwyr!
Annog Plant i Helpu gyda Thasgau Cartref: Neilltuo tasgau sy'n briodol i'w hoedran sy'n gofyn am gydweithio, megis gosod y bwrdd neu lanhau ar ôl prydau bwyd. Mae hyn yn dysgu plant i gydweithio a chyfrannu at y cartref.
Yn Ysgol Panteg, rydym wedi ymrwymo i helpu ein plant i ddatblygu’r sgiliau sydd eu hangen i gydweithio’n effeithiol. Y Cwsg Mawr - ATGOF
Bob blwyddyn, rydym yn cynnal trip preswyl arbennig iawn i’n plant! Mae wedi dod yn uchafbwynt y flwyddyn ac mae'n un o'r pethau y mae ein plant yn dweud eu bod yn fwyaf cyffrous amdano!
Mae'r Big Sleep yn daith 3 diwrnod i aros dros nos yn yr ysgol a mynd i lawer o lefydd cyffrous a gwneud pethau cyffrous. Drwy aros yn yr ysgol, rydym yn gallu gwneud mwy na hanner cost y daith.
Cynhelir y Cwsg Mawr eleni o ddydd Mercher, 9fed o Ebrill i ddydd Gwener, 11eg o Ebrill. Bydd yn costio £159. Mae gostyngiad o 10% wedi'i ychwanegu ar gyfer teuluoedd sy'n derbyn Grant Datblygu Disgyblion. Mae'r gost hon yn cynnwys yr holl gludiant, digwyddiadau a bwyd. Ar hyn o bryd rydym yn archebu'r holl ddigwyddiadau - gweler isod am ein teithlen arfaethedig!
Er mwyn helpu teuluoedd i ledaenu cost y daith, rydym wedi agor clwb cynilo ar CivicaPay i chi allu ychwanegu ychydig bob wythnos neu fis.
Mae blaendal na ellir ei ad-dalu ar gyfer y daith yn £30 a bydd yn sicrhau lle i'ch plentyn ar y daith. Mae'r blaendal yn ddyledus erbyn dydd Mawrth, 4ydd o Chwefror am 10am. (ar ôl diwrnod cyflog i'r rhan fwyaf o bobl!).
Yna bydd gweddill y gost yn ddyledus erbyn dydd Iau, 3ydd o Ebrill am 10yb.

Mae’r Pecyn Stori, a ddarperir drwy’r rhaglen ‘Pori Trwy’r Stori’, yn llawn llyfrau stori dwyieithog hyfryd a gweithgareddau difyr wedi’u cynllunio i gefnogi datblygiad llythrennedd eich plentyn.

Developing Children's Independence: Working Together at Ysgol Panteg
At Ysgol Panteg, we understand the importance of working together as a vital skill for developing children's independence. Collaboration involves sharing, listening, communicating, empathising, and including others. These skills are essential for fostering independence and preparing children for future challenges.
Working together can be broken down into several key aspects, which we actively promote at Ysgol Panteg:
Sharing: Sharing is the foundation of collaboration. It involves not only sharing physical resources but also ideas and strategies. Teaching children to share politely, using phrases like "Can I… please" and "Thank you," helps them show respect for others and their belongings. Sharing encourages children to think beyond their own needs and consider the needs of others. At Ysgol Panteg, we encourage learners to share resources and ideas confidently, fostering a collaborative environment.
Listening: Active listening is crucial for effective communication and collaboration. Children need to learn to listen carefully to others' ideas and opinions, and respond thoughtfully. This helps them understand different perspectives and build empathy. At Ysgol Panteg, we teach learners to listen attentively and ask questions to engage in meaningful discussions. This enhances their listening skills and promotes mutual respect.
Communicating: Clear communication is essential for working together. Children should be encouraged to express their needs, opinions, and ideas confidently. This includes both verbal and non-verbal communication. Teaching children to articulate their thoughts and listen to others fosters mutual understanding and respect. At Ysgol Panteg, we emphasise the importance of effective communication in both Welsh and English, helping learners develop strong communication skills.
Empathising: Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. It is a key component of working together as it helps children build strong, supportive relationships. Encouraging children to imagine how others might feel in different situations and to ask questions to understand others' perspectives can enhance their empathy. At Ysgol Panteg, we promote empathy by encouraging learners to support and respect their peers' rights and feelings.
Including Others: Inclusion involves recognising and valuing the diversity of others. Teaching children to include others in play and tasks helps them appreciate different backgrounds and viewpoints. It also fosters a sense of belonging and community. Encouraging children to stand up for others' rights and ensure everyone feels included is crucial for developing a collaborative mindset. You will know that we are a UNICEF Silver Rights Respecting School and we are working towards the Gold award for 2026. At Ysgol Panteg, we celebrate diversity and encourage learners to include and respect everyone.
10 Ideas for Families to Develop Working Together at Home:
Play Cooperative Games: Engage in games that require teamwork and collaboration, such as board games or team sports. These activities help children learn to work together towards a common goal.
Encourage Group Projects: Involve your child in group projects, such as building a model or creating a family scrapbook. This teaches them to share responsibilities and collaborate with others.
Model Good Listening Skills: Demonstrate active listening by giving your full attention when your child speaks. Show them how to listen without interrupting and to respond thoughtfully. It’s a good place to start by asking them what they think good listening looks like.
Practice Turn-Taking: Encourage turn-taking in everyday activities, such as playing games or sharing toys. This helps children learn to wait their turn and respect others' time.
Discuss the Importance of Sharing: Talk about why sharing is important and how it helps build strong relationships. Use real-life examples to illustrate the benefits of sharing.

YEAR 6
The Big Sleep - REMINDER
Every year, we hold a very special residential trip for our children! It has become the highlight of the year and is one of the things our children say they are most excited for!
The Big Sleep is a 3-day trip to stay overnight at school and go to lots of exciting places and do exciting things. By staying at school, we are able to more than half the cost of the trip.
The Big Sleep will take place this year on Wednesday, 9th of April to Friday, 11th of April. It will cost £159. A 10% discount has been added for families who are in receipt of Pupil Development Grant. This cost includes all transport, events and food. We are currently booking all the events – see below for our intended itinerary!
To help families spread the cost of the trip, we have opened a savings club on CivicaPay for you to be able to add a little each week or month.
A non-refundable deposit for the trip is £30 and will secure your child's place on the trip. The deposit is due by Tuesday, 4th of February at 10am. (after pay day for most people!).
The remainder of the cost will then be due by Thursday, 3rd of April at 10am.
If you are having trouble paying for this residential trip due to technical reasons or otherwise, please get in contact with us as soon as possible so that we can assist.

Pori Trwy'r Stori
We are thrilled to announce that this week, all Reception children will be bringing home a special Story Pack as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a love for reading and storytelling. The Story Pack, provided through the 'Pori Trwy’r Stori' program, is filled with delightful bilingual storybooks and engaging activities designed to support your child's literacy development.
Each Story Pack includes:
Bilingual Storybooks: Wonderful tales in both Welsh and English to enjoy together.
Activity Sheets: Fun, interactive activities that complement the stories and enhance learning.
Guidance for Parents: Tips and ideas on how to make the most of the Story Pack with your child.
We encourage you to take some time to explore these resources with your child. Shared reading experiences are not only enjoyable but also crucial for building strong literacy foundations. By engaging with the Story Pack, you are helping to cultivate a lifelong love for reading and learning in your child.
