Ddydd Mercher, cafodd ein myfyrwyr Blwyddyn 3 a 4 gyfle i gymryd rhan mewn cyfres o weithdai diddorol ac addysgiadol a gyflwynwyd gan Dŵr Cymru, y cwmni sy’n gyfrifol am ddarparu gwasanaethau dŵr a charthffosiaeth yng Nghymru. Cynlluniwyd y gweithdai i fod yn rhyngweithiol ac yn llawn gwybodaeth, gan ganolbwyntio ar wahanol agweddau ar gadwraeth dŵr, y cylch dŵr, a phwysigrwydd cynnal ffynonellau dŵr glân a chynaliadwy. Bu ein plant yn cymryd rhan yn frwdfrydig mewn gweithgareddau ymarferol ac arbrofion a oedd yn dyfnhau eu dealltwriaeth o’r pynciau hollbwysig hyn.

Cyngor Ysgol yn Cydweithio gyda Cymru.FM ar bennod ‘Radio Panteg’
Ddydd Mercher, cafodd ein cyngor ysgol dawnus gyfle unigryw a chyffrous i weithio gyda Mark Griffiths o Cymru.FM i gynhyrchu pennod diweddaraf ein ‘Radio Panteg’ ein hunain. Roedd y profiad ymarferol hwn nid yn unig yn wefreiddiol ond hefyd yn gyfle dysgu anhygoel i'n plant. Mae hefyd yn rhan o’n hymrwymiad i ddarparu mwy o gyfleoedd i lais y disgybl.
O dan arweiniad arbenigol Mark Griffiths, y plant oedd yn gyfrifol am y broses gynhyrchu gyfan. Dechreuon nhw trwy ddylunio eu rhaglen, gan daflu syniadau creadigol, ac amlinellu'r segmentau yr oeddent am eu cynnwys. Gyda’u gweledigaeth mewn golwg, buont wedyn yn gweithio’n ddiwyd ar sgriptio’r sioe, gan sicrhau ei bod yn ddifyr ac yn addysgiadol.
Unwaith roedd y sgript yn barod, roedd hi'n amser ar gyfer y sesiynau recordio. Dangosodd y plant waith tîm rhyfeddol a brwdfrydedd wrth iddynt gamu i fyny at y meicroffon, gan ddod â'u sgript yn fyw gyda hyder a dawn. Fe wnaethon nhw hefyd guradu detholiad gwych o ganeuon i'w cynnwys yn y bennod.
Yr her olaf oedd golygu'r deunydd a recordiwyd a chydosod y rhaglen gyfan. Gyda’r cloc yn tician, dangosodd ein disgyblion sgiliau rheoli amser a datrys problemau trawiadol, gan sicrhau bod y bennod yn raenus ac yn barod i’w darlledu y noson honno.
Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn gwrando ar y bennod ddiweddaraf o ‘Radio Panteg’ – fyddwch chi ddim am ei cholli! Dilynwch y ddolen hon i'n gwefan i wrando! https://www.ysgolpanteg.cymru/radio

Roedd y sesiynau yn gyflwyniad gwych i'r gamp, gan alluogi'r plant i ddysgu ac ymarfer sgiliau pêl-fasged hanfodol mewn amgylchedd hwyliog a chefnogol. O dan arweiniad arbenigol yr hyfforddwyr o Bêl-fasged Cymru, bu'r myfyrwyr yn cymryd rhan mewn ymarferion amrywiol a gynlluniwyd i wella eu galluoedd driblo, pasio a saethu. Taith Ymchwil Prifysgol Mr. Masterton i Indonesia
Efallai eich bod yn cofio o gyfathrebiadau blaenorol fod Mr. Masterton yn un o'n hathrawon dan hyfforddiant. Yr wythnos hon, fel rhan o'i waith a ariennir gan y brifysgol, mae Mr Masterton wedi bod draw yn Brunei yn dysgu am addysg dramor. Dyma beth sydd ganddo i'w ddweud!
Yr wythnos hon, fel rhan o fy nghwrs TAR trwy'r Brifysgol Agored, rwyf wedi cael y fraint o ymweld ag Ysgol Ryngwladol Brunei ar gyfer ail leoliad. Mae’r cyfle anhygoel hwn wedi caniatáu i mi arsylwi a chymryd rhan mewn arferion da o ran addysgu ar draws eu hadran gynradd, gyda ffocws arbennig ar Flynyddoedd 5 a 6.
O’r eiliad y cyrhaeddais, roedd awyrgylch croesawgar yr ysgol a’u pwyslais ar feithrin perthnasoedd cadarnhaol yn amlwg. Mae’r ymdeimlad o barch a chefnogaeth rhwng athrawon a disgyblion yn creu amgylchedd sy’n wir ysbrydoli dysgu. Mae wedi bod yn bleser i weld sut mae’r perthnasoedd cryf hyn yn sail i ethos yr ysgol ac yn cyfrannu at awyrgylch dosbarth mor gadarnhaol.
Yn ystod fy amser yma, rwyf wedi gweld gwersi a dulliau dysgu hynod o ddiddorol sydd wedi fy ysbrydoli’n fawr. Er enghraifft, yn Flwyddyn 6, roedd y disgyblion yn archwilio’r system gylchrediad trwy sesiwn fywiog ac ymgysylltiol a wnaeth ddod â’r wyddoniaeth yn fyw. Roedd chwilfrydedd ac angerdd y disgyblion yn drawiadol wrth iddynt fynd i’r afael â swyddogaethau’r galon a symudiad gwaed trwy’r corff. Cafodd y disgyblion hefyd gyfle i arbrofi a thorri calon gyda chymorth Blwyddyn 7.
Mae’r profiad hwn wedi bod yn gyfle gwych i arsylwi dulliau amrywiol o addysgu a dysgu, a gobeithio y gallaf ddod â’r hyn rwyf wedi’i ddysgu yn ôl i’n hysgol. Rwy’n edrych ymlaen at ddychwelyd i Ysgol Panteg yr wythnos nesaf i rannu’r hyn rwyf wedi’i ddysgu a gweithredu rhai o’r strategaethau ysbrydoledig hyn yn ein hystafelloedd dosbarth.

School Council Collaborates with Cymru.FM on ‘Radio Panteg’ Episode
On Wednesday, our talented school council had a unique and exciting opportunity to work with Mark Griffiths of Cymru.FM to produce the latest episode of our very own ‘Radio Panteg’. This hands-on experience was not only thrilling but also an incredible learning opportunity for our children. It is also part of our commitment to providing more opportunities for pupil voice.
Under the expert guidance of Mark Griffiths, the children took charge of the entire production process. They began by designing their programme, brainstorming creative ideas, and outlining the segments they wanted to include. With their vision in mind, they then worked diligently on scripting the show, ensuring it was both engaging and informative.
Once the script was ready, it was time for the recording sessions. The children displayed remarkable teamwork and enthusiasm as they stepped up to the microphone, bringing their script to life with confidence and flair. They also curated a fantastic selection of songs to feature in the episode.
The final challenge was editing the recorded material and assembling the complete programme. With the clock ticking, our pupils demonstrated impressive time management and problem-solving skills, ensuring the episode was polished and ready for broadcast that very evening.
Make sure to tune in and listen to the latest episode of ‘Radio Panteg’—you won’t want to miss it! Follow this link to our website to listen! https://www.ysgolpanteg.cymru/radio

Mr. Masterton's University Research Visit to Indonesia
You might remember from previous communications that Mr. Masterton is one of our trainee teachers. This week, as part of his work funded by the university, Mr. Masterton has been over in Brunei learning about education abroad. Here is what he has to say!
This week, as part of my PGCE course through the Open University, I’ve had the privilege of visiting the International School of Brunei for a week-long second placement. This incredible opportunity has allowed me to observe and engage with best practices in teaching across their primary section, with a particular focus on Years 5 and 6.
From the moment I arrived, the school’s welcoming atmosphere and emphasis on fostering positive relationships were clear. The sense of mutual respect and encouragement between teachers and students creates an environment that truly inspires learning. It has been a pleasure to witness how these strong relationships underpin the school’s ethos and contribute to such a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
During my time here, I’ve seen some fascinating lessons and approaches that have inspired me greatly. For example, in Year 6, students explored the circulatory system through an engaging and interactive session that brought science to life. The pupils’ curiosity and enthusiasm were remarkable as they delved into the functions of the heart and the movement of blood through the body. They also had the opportunity to dissect a heart with assistance from Year 7.
This experience has been a wonderful opportunity to observe diverse methods of teaching and learning, which I hope to bring back to our school. I am looking forward to returning to Ysgol Panteg next week and sharing what I’ve learned and implementing some of these inspiring strategies in our classrooms.

Cooking for the Family Club Kicks Off with a Sweet Start!
Our Cooking for the Family Club had its first session of the year yesterday, and it was an absolute delight. Families gathered, rolling up their sleeves and donning aprons to create delicious cupcakes. From the young ones to the grown-ups, everyone had a great time learning, baking, and, of course, tasting! Our budding bakers experimented with various flavours, toppings, and decorations, resulting in a colourful array of scrumptious treats that were as beautiful as they were tasty.
